RAMIE SILK is a noble, lightweight blend of virgin wool, silk and ramie. It is a very special noble yarn that is also resistant due to the ramie content. The silk gives it a very nice sheen, which shows its full effect especially with natural dyes.
Ramie is a natural fiber derived from a Southeast Asian plant that is related to the stinging nettle. It is one of the oldest fibre plants in the world and gives the yarn a special touch.
